The
Society of Foreign Consuls was founded in 1925, and represents
the world’s largest consular corps, currently comprising
105 Consulates General based in New York City.
An Executive Committee made up of elected members representing
every country of the world via seven geograhical groupings, work
to safeguard the interests and rights of the Consular Corps members
as defined in international law or established through usage.
They also strive to promote cultural and economic relations with
the City of New York and between their respective countries and
the United States.
